Editorial policy

No doctor, practice, or health system pays to be listed, ranked, or described on this site, and none can pay to be removed. Listings are determined entirely by the selection rules in our methodology.

On city and visit-type pages, doctors with public ratings and a complete profile appear first, then by rating. Where we show lowest and highest rates, the ordering is strictly by price. We do not accept payment for placement.

This site is operated by Momentary Labs Inc., which also makes the Momentary app: AI primary care with real doctors, offered as a monthly subscription. The app is an alternative to some of the visits priced on this site, which is a commercial interest we want to be plain about. Links to the app are clearly labeled. The pricing data is presented the same way whether or not you use it.

Anyone can report an error. When a report concerns factual data (an address, a phone number, a rate), we check it against the current source file and correct the listing if the source has changed or we made a mistake. Doctors who believe a rate is attributed to them in error can request review; if the insurer file supports the claim, we remove the rate. We do not remove accurate public information on request.

Two kinds of text on doctor pages are generated with software from the underlying data: the one-sentence price summaries, which are templated directly from the rate tables, and the short summaries of public reviews, which are labeled as summaries and cite their sources. Neither contains claims that are not in the source data. Everything else is written by people.

This site publishes pricing and directory information. It does not evaluate the quality of medical care, and nothing here should be read as a recommendation to see or avoid a particular doctor.
